Enershare

On November 9-10, the consortium of Enershare project convene in Lisbon for its 2nd project meeting. The main objective of EnerShare is to develop and deploy the first of its kind Common European Energy Data Space Reference Implementation and provide data-driven services to enable a consumer-centric participatory data-driven energy system. Enershare will accelerate the digitalisation of the energy sector, through the upscale of a variety of technological building blocks, including interoperability, trust, data value and governance. The project is relevant to the European goal of developing a Common European Energy Data Space, as announced in the European Strategy for Data.

EPU is participating in Enershare, by leading the Pilot demonstrators’ activities, and developing key building blocks and data-driven services for the energy sector. At the initial stages of the project, EPU is contributing in the identification of the available and appropriate energy data sources that will become a part of the Energy Data Space, laying out the demonstration plan of the under development technologies and shaping the requirements its successful deployment, but it does not stop here. EPU is also creating the roadmap for the implementation of a Hydrogen Digital Twin, which will allow to create scenarios for the inclusion and usage of Green Hydrogen into the electricity mix.
