We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mid-level software engineer to join our team. As a mid-level software engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications that meet business requirements.

✔ Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications that meet business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that conforms to software development best practices ·

✔ Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong understanding of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
• Experience with one or more databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including software design patterns, unit testing, and code reviews
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

✔ Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with one or more software development frameworks such as Spring, Django, React, or Angular
• Experience with agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks ·   
• Experience with machine learning, data science, or data engineering

👉Job Description:

We are seeking a Junior Energy Expert to join our team and collaborate closely with our energy team. You will be responsible for conducting research, collecting and analyzing data, and providing support in drafting project deliverables and reports.

✔ Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and actively participate in various research projects focused on new energy and resource-efficient solutions. This may include areas such as energy storage, electric vehicles, flexibility/demand response, circular economy, and resilient and low-emission cultural heritage.
• Conduct literature reviews and gather relevant data from credible sources to contribute to research projects.
• Monitor, analyze, and review energy data, and evaluate energy costs and conservation measures.
• Contribute to market analysis related to energy efficiency and renewable energy.
• Prepare project reports and technical documentation.
• Support the entire acquisition process of new projects and assist in editing research proposals.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including electricity suppliers, grid operators, local authorities, and other relevant partners.
• Assist in developing and implementing energy management strategies for stakeholders, considering their specific needs and goals.

✔ Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong reporting skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Fluency in both Greek and English, with excellent oral and written communication skills at a professional corporate level.
• Military obligations fulfilled, if applicable.
• Familiarity with energy modeling software and tools to analyze and optimize energy systems.
• Knowledge of relevant energy regulations, standards, and policies to ensure compliance and adherence.

✔ Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience with the Horizon research projects framework.
• Knowledge of the European energy landscape, familiarity with renewable energy technologies and their integration into existing energy systems.
• Ability to cooperate with international partners and work effectively in distributed/virtual teams.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Methodical approach to problem-solving, self-discipline, and effective decision-making.
• Strong team player, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
