This programme offers authorities and stakeholders the opportunity to gain expert knowledge, practical tools, and personalized guidance on prioritizing energy efficiency measures before investing in new energy infrastructure, thereby supporting Europe’s transition to a more sustainable energy system. 

The programme is structured around three key learning topics:

DSS Lab also participated in a dedicated Smart Energy Cluster Workshop titled "Unlocking the Power of Smart Energy: A New Era in Efficiency, Flexibility, and Innovation" with InEExS, FORTESIE and DEDALUS projects.

Join the Smart Energy Cluster session, Titled "Unlocking the Power of Smart Energy: A New Era in Efficiency, Flexibility and Innovation" to explore innovative solutions driving the energy transition. Each project contributes uniquely to the overarching goal of improving energy efficiency and sustainability.

The ENERGATE smart energy marketplace aims to facilitate the financial closure and project implementation of energy efficiency by offering standardization, risk mitigation, and appropriate "packaging" of investments. 

Sessions to Attend: 

The Search and Rescue project aimed to develop a highly interoperable, modular open architecture platform to support first responders during disaster situations such as earthquakes, industrial accidents, and building collapses. By integrating advanced technologies and fostering collaboration among emergency teams, the project has improved the effectiveness and efficiency of search and rescue operations.

The 1st day of the FORTESIE Plenary Meeting in Riga, Latvia (26-27/09/2024) was successfully concluded! All partners presented the project’s progress and were engaged in fruitful discussions and knowledge and ideas transfer!

The Decision Support Systems Laboratory of the National Technical University of Athens (DSSLab-NTUA) is one of the key partners of the EnerShare Horizon Europe project leading several research activities and the implementation of multiple critical parts of the technical solution under development, in parallel with the pilot coordination within the project. The overall vision of ENERSHARE is to develop and demonstrate a European common energy data space that will develop an "intra-energy" and "cross-sectoral" interoperable and reliable energy data ecosystem.

Within the development of the “TwinP2G” service for Pilot 4 (DEPA), a service which aimed to deliver a Digital Twin (DT) for customized and optimized simulations of Power-to-Gas investments, the Decision Support Systems Laboratory of NTUA has delivered the first in a series of research on Power-to-Gas investments for the Greek energy sector.
